  • OCRMI Course - register now!
In order to extend protection for consumers, OntarioACHI will be continuing our push for short-term radon testing as part of the real-estate transaction. We will be running a concerted advertising campaign over the coming months to increase awareness of the risks of radon in the home and the benefits of having homes tested to identify the potential for radon infiltration, and the possibility radon mitigation might be needed. We will be continuing to certify properly qualified members to the OntarionACHI Certified Radon Measurement Inspector (OCRMI) standard and will be promoting their services as part of our announcements.

Members who are looking to expand their portfolios, advance their business opportunities and increase the level of protection they are offering their clients, will want to attend this course.
  • Electrical Panel Inspections
Open the Electrical panel front or not? It seems that the MGCS wants us to protect consumers but there were some kinks in the regulations already in place by the MoL, WSIB and ESA. We have worked out the ESA concerns and are still working on the MoL/WSIB issues.
